Welcome to Career Engine: AI CV ATS Resume. By accessing or using our mobile application, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Description of Service

Career Engine provides an AI-powered platform designed to analyze CV/Resume text, simulate Applicant Tracking System (ATS) scoring, and provide optimization suggestions using Large Language Models (Google Gemini API). Career Engine is a technical optimization tool and is not an employment agency.

2. Data Privacy & Processing (No-Storage Policy)

File Handling: We operate a strict "No-Storage" policy for original PDF documents. When you upload a resume, the text is extracted locally on your device. The original file is not stored on our servers.
AI Processing: Extracted text is transmitted securely to our backend and AI partners (Google Gemini) solely for analysis and optimization purposes.
Data Persistence: Structured data (parsed JSON) and version history are stored via Firebase Firestore to allow you to track your progress across sessions.

3. Subscriptions & Billing (RevenueCat)

Premium features, such as advanced AI optimizations and job-matching analysis, require a paid subscription.

Payments are processed through the Apple App Store.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Managing and canceling subscriptions is the user's responsibility and must be done via Apple ID settings.

4. Anonymous Accounts

The app utilizes "Anonymous Authentication" for immediate access. If you delete the app or change devices without linking your account to a permanent email or social provider, your data (including Premium status and CV history) cannot be recovered. Career Engine is not liable for data loss resulting from unlinked accounts.

5. AI & Performance Disclaimer

Employment Results: Career Engine does not guarantee job interviews, job offers, or successful employment outcomes. Optimization suggestions are generated by AI algorithms and should be reviewed by the user.

Accuracy: While we strive for high precision, we do not warrant that AI-generated suggestions are error-free or fully compliant with every specific company's ATS criteria.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Career Engine, its developers, or its partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the service.
